Manthey Racing, the Nordschleife specialist in which Porsche holds a majority stake, saw no need for more power. Its package for the car worked on the chassis, the suspension and the aerodynamics instead, and in October 2018 a GT2 RS so equipped lapped the Nordschleife in 6:40.33 with Lars Kern at the wheel, some seven seconds faster than the standard car.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one is painted in a colour-shift finish that runs from teal on the flanks to violet and purple over the curves of the wings and doors, with the carbon bonnet, splitter and diffuser tinted to match so the change carries right across the car. The wheels are white, the rear pair covered by blue aero discs, and blue appears again in the roll cage behind the white seats. GT2 RS MR script sits low on the doors and on the tail between the red lamps. The Manthey wing is finished in the same shifting colour.
