In the Japanese Touring Car Championship it won all 29 races it entered and took the title every year from 1990 to 1993. In Australia a GT-R won the Bathurst 1000 in 1991 and 1992, and Jim Richards and Mark Skaife won the national touring car championship in those two years. The Australian magazine Wheels had already called it Godzilla in its July 1989 issue. To homologate the Group A changes, Nissan built 560 GT-R NISMO cars from February 1990, the 500 the rules required plus 60 more.

This one is finished in Cyan Blue, a bright, solid light blue carried over the whole body and the rear wing. NISMO plates sit front and rear, and the red GT badge is on each front wing. The wheels are black five-spokes with NISMO logos, on Bridgestone tyres, with drilled discs and orange calipers behind the spokes. The four round tail lamps and the SKYLINE lettering across the boot panel are cleanly done, and the car sits on a dark grey leather base. MotorHelix builds it at 1:18.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0821/8519/1637/files/TAH-12590-01_85acefa7-3bb4-4eeb-a54a-64668dc11c99.jpg?v=1791398794
