land-rover-defender-110-gloss-black-1-18
Land Rover Defender 110, Gloss Black

Land Rover launched the new Defender on 10 September 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and the biggest change was under the skin: an aluminium unibody on the D7x platform in place of the old body-on-frame construction. The design was led by Gerry McGovern. The 110 is the five-door version, on a 3,022 mm wheelbase and 4,758 mm long without its rear-mounted spare wheel, or 5,018 mm with it. It sits between the three-door 90 and the 130, which keeps five doors but adds a longer rear overhang for three rows of seats. All three are built at Jaguar Land Rover's plant in Nitra, Slovakia, which opened in 2018, and from 2021 the range included the P525 V8.

This one is in gloss black, with silver skid plates front and rear. The cabin is trimmed in red, which shows through every window. The wheels are gloss black five-spoke designs on Continental CrossContact tyres, with red calipers carrying the DEFENDER name, and silver side steps run below the doors. The spare wheel hangs on the tailgate, and Land Rover ovals sit on the grille, the side panel, the tail and the rear mud flaps. The car stands on a black base with a mirrored top. It is built at 1:18.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0821/8519/1637/files/TAH-12919-02_76dda941-4fdf-42cc-bdfd-13bc89358e31.jpg?v=1791403073
