The 6.5-litre V12 was raised to 670 CV at 8,000 rpm, and carbon fibre inside and out took 100 kg off the LP 640. The SV gained larger intakes to cool the brakes, a front spoiler reaching much further forward, a lighter exhaust and an engine cover of hexagonal transparent panels on a carbon frame. Buyers could have the large Aeropack wing or a smaller spoiler, which allowed a higher top speed: 342 km/h against 337. Lamborghini planned 350, but production ended in November 2010 to make room for the Aventador.

This car has the smaller spoiler, which leaves the tail clean. It is painted a pale blue grey with a soft pearl sheen, set off by a black SV graphic on each door, black sills and side intakes, and a carbon rear panel carrying the Lamborghini script above the single central tailpipe. The wheels are polished five-spoke rims. Through the glass, the cabin pairs blue grey upholstery with blue-tinted carbon fibre on the door panels and centre console. The etched plaque on the white leather base names the car as the Murciélago LP670-4 SV and reads Limited 08 of 08, the last number in the run. It is built at 1:18.
