The body is left open in places, so light passes through the chest and flank, and each hoof is a shaped steel collar with thin flared strips at the fetlock.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSpark plugs run down the raised foreleg and one hind leg. The neck is wrapped in braided hose and tightly coiled springs, with a red wire threaded through them. The chest is built from forged arms, threaded studs, small steel cylinders, two lengths of chain and a curved guide rail still held by its bolt, and a toothed plate along the belly keeps its stamped tabs. Pale pieces that look like weathered bone, one of them shaped like a vertebra, are set into the chest, the withers, the haunch and the raised foreleg.
