Announced in 2009 and based on a 430 Scuderia, the P4/5 Competizione was not a conversion of the road car but an entirely new car with a Ferrari chassis and drivetrain, built to FIA GT2 standards around a 4.0-litre V8 of 440 bhp. It made its debut in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in June 2011, entered by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus as number 23 in the experimental E1-XP2 class, with Mika Salo, Luca Cappellari, Nicola Larini and Fabrizio Giovanardi sharing the driving. The car caught fire during the race, yet still finished 39th overall after 133 laps. Ferrari distanced itself from the project that same year.

The model is finished in a carbon-weave pattern over the whole body and wears the 2011 race decals: Zurich 24h number boards with 23 on the nose and doors, a Gran Turismo banner across the top of the windscreen, and Falken, Bilstein, Petronas and Pirelli logos. The gold multi-spoke wheels run on Pirelli P Zero tyres, and through the glass a pale seat sits inside the roll cage. At the back, a high carbon wing on twin pylons stands over round tail lamps, twin tailpipes and a yellow New York plate reading P 45 C. It stands on a black suede base with orange stitching, built at 1:18.
