Behind the cabin sat a 6.3-litre V12 giving 800 PS at 9,000 rpm, joined by the 163 PS HY-KERS electric unit for a combined 963 PS and 900 Nm. Under the skin was a carbon-fibre monocoque designed by Rory Byrne, and the active aerodynamics were managed by on-board computers. Black five-spoke wheels sit over red calipers, a stylised 4 is applied to each rear flank, and the tail carries a German registration plate. The red cabin shows through the glass. It stands on a white leather base with red stitching and a plaque that sets out the car's specification beneath the Ferrari and LaFerrari names, marked Limited.
