Behind the cockpit sits a 2,992 cc twin-turbo V6, mounted lengthways and used as a fully stressed member of the chassis, and a 200 kW electric motor on the front axle gives the car semi-permanent all-wheel drive. It was unveiled in October 2022 at the Finali Mondiali, the finale of Ferrari's one-make Challenge series, raced first at Sebring in March 2023 and won Le Mans that June at the first attempt. For 2024 Ferrari kept the same six drivers, and the number 50 car of Fuoco, Molina and Nielsen won Le Mans again, with the number 51 third.

This BBR model shows the shape without a race livery: the body is plain red, with no numbers or sponsor decals, set against the woven carbon of the dorsal fin, the sills, the rear wing and the diffuser, with a yellow strip along the top of the wing. The Ferrari name runs across the top of the windscreen, and the black multi-spoke wheels wear plain black tyres. The car sits on a black leather base with a carbon-pattern top plate carrying the 499P name, and a Ferrari shield at the front corner. BBR builds it at 1:18.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0821/8519/1637/files/TAH-12516-01_80fe5534-abb5-47a4-b5a0-b2ac242a640c.jpg?v=1791398071
