Pininfarina styled the body, with Goran Popović credited as designer. The 3.6-litre V8 made 400 PS and drove through either a six-speed manual or the F1 automated manual built by Graziano Trasmissioni. The Spider followed at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show, its electric hood folding away into its own compartment, and around 7,565 were built before the F430 replaced the 360 in 2005.

BBR finishes this Spider in matt gold over the whole body, the hood stowed, with black five-spoke wheels and red calipers. The cabin is tan, with the seats and the roll hoops behind them in the same colour, and the headlamps sit under clear covers. At the rear, four round lamps flank the black mesh tail panel, two pairs of exhaust tips sit below, and a 360 spider badge sits on the plate panel. The car stands on a black leather base with red stitching.
