Its name follows the old Dino scheme, 2.9 litres and six cylinders, and it was Ferrari's first six-cylinder road car apart from the Dino models, which Ferrari built but sold under the Dino name. The engine is a 2,992 cc twin-turbo V6 with its banks at 120 degrees, making 663 PS, and an electric motor adds 167 PS for 830 PS in all. It is a plug-in hybrid that can cover 25 km on electric power alone, and Ferrari claims 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and more than 330 km/h. An open GTS with a folding hard top and a track-focused Assetto Fiorano package followed.

This one is in Giallo Tristrato, a deep solid yellow, with silver five-spoke wheels and yellow calipers, black sills and the air intakes cut into the rear wings behind the doors. The cabin shows through the glass and the rear screen. At the back are the slim tail lights, the single exhaust set high in the centre, the 296 GTB badge on the bumper and the carbon diffuser beneath.
