Ulf Norinder's blue-and-yellow 250 GTO, chassis 3445GT, went the whole distance on 26 April 1964 with Troberg sharing the driving. It crossed the line ninth overall after 7 hours 40 minutes and second in the 3-litre GT class, behind the GTO/64 of Taramazzo and Ferlaino. The Swede had bought the car from Count Volpi's Scuderia Serenissima a year earlier and painted it in his country's colours.

This example carries a race-worn finish. The blue has been flattened and dusted, the yellow nose is chipped and grimed around the open intakes, dirt streaks the flanks and tail, the windscreen shows the arc of the wipers through a layer of dust, and the wheels and tyres have been darkened. The patina is an applied finish over a complete model: the bonnet, doors and boot still open, the V12 is wired and plumbed, and the cockpit keeps its blue seats, harnesses and wood-rimmed wheel. The model underneath is CMC's 1:18 hand-assembled metal 250 GTO in Norinder's livery, with the MO 79978 plate. This example is a bespoke 1 of 1, weathered to look race-worn and made in Germany.
