{"product_id":"car-graphic-magazine-may-1968-ferrari-cover","title":"Car Graphic Magazine, May 1968 Ferrari Cover","description":"\u003cp\u003eCar Graphic was founded in Tokyo in 1962 by Shotaro Kobayashi and grew into Japan's leading monthly car magazine. This is issue 76, published on 1 May 1968, and its cover lines read like a digest of that spring's motoring: the Geneva show, the Tasman Series, the All Japan Fuji 300 km race and the build-up to the Japanese Grand Prix. The 1968 Tasman Series, raced in New Zealand and Australia, went to Jim Clark in a Lotus 49T. It was his third Tasman title and the last championship he won before his death at Hockenheim on 7 April 1968.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cover is a Ferrari cockpit photographed close: a wood-rimmed three-spoke wheel with the yellow prancing-horse boss, set against a wood-veneered dashboard of Veglia instruments, the speedometer reading to 300 km\/h. The pink masthead pairs CAR with the title in Japanese script, with the month number 5 printed large beside it, and the small print gives the issue as No. 76, May 1968. The copy shows its age honestly, with a toned cover, rubbed edges and wear along the spine, as expected of a well-read magazine of almost sixty years. The text is in Japanese.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"The Automotive House","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67697324982485,"sku":"TAH-13245","price":1830.0,"currency_code":"AED","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0821\/8519\/1637\/files\/TAH-13245-01_af9cb2a1-ded2-4fd9-902a-a86928c89c7f.jpg?v=1793001050","url":"https:\/\/www.automotivehouse.com\/products\/car-graphic-magazine-may-1968-ferrari-cover","provider":"The Automotive House","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
