cadillac-escalade-matt-black-1-18
Cadillac Escalade, Matt Black

Cadillac revealed the fifth-generation Escalade in Beverly Hills on 4 February 2020 as a 2021 model, and sales began that autumn. Built on the GMT T1XX platform it shares with the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon, it was the first Escalade with independent rear suspension. Inside, the dashboard carried a curved OLED display 38 inches across, which Cadillac presented as an industry first, along with augmented-reality navigation. Super Cruise hands-free driving was offered, the optional AKG audio system had 36 speakers, and next to the 6.2-litre V8 Cadillac offered a 3.0-litre Duramax diesel six badged 600D, its first diesel in North America since the 1985 models.

This one is in Matt Black over the whole body, so the shape shows through its creases and shut lines alone. The grille mesh, window line and roof are black as well, and the colour comes only from the Cadillac crest front and rear and the tall vertical lamps. The multi-spoke wheels are gloss black. At the back, ESCALADE lettering runs across the tailgate under the Cadillac script plate. The car sits on a black leather base with red stitching. It is built at 1:18.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0821/8519/1637/files/TAH-12734-02_779ba091-55b4-4c65-9888-fd4ccccd5e3c.jpg?v=1791400668
