The W16 Mistral raised that mark. On 9 November 2024, at the ATP test track in Papenburg, a production-series Mistral reached 453.91 km/h with Andy Wallace at the wheel, the Le Mans winner who had taken the Chiron Super Sport 300+ to 490.484 km/h five years earlier. With it, Bugatti completed a quartet of W16 world-record cars that began with the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport World Record Edition in 2010.

H&H names the colour Olive Green, though on the model it reads as a bright apple-green metallic with real sparkle in the flake. A fine orange-red stripe runs from the nose over the bonnet, exposed black carbon fills the lower body and the tricolore sits on the sill; silver wheels frame red brake calipers, and the black cabin is lifted by red seat belts and a red-rimmed steering wheel. The grille carries a black-and-silver macaron rather than the usual red. The roadster sits on a black suede-finish base with white contrast stitching, its nameplate bearing the Bugatti macaron, the Mistral script and a piece number from an edition of 30.
