Mulliner put a four-door body on the Bentley S1 Continental chassis. Its managing director, Arthur Talbot Johnstone, is said to have named the car after the heraldic badge of his family, the Clan Johnstone of the Scottish Borders, and the very first one even wore the clan's flying spur as a mascot. The name returned in 2005 on the Continental Flying Spur, and the third generation, revealed in 2019, carried it on Bentley's four-door grand tourer. Its launch engine was the 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 of 635 PS. The standard W12 stayed in the range until May 2022; from that September the twelve cylinders lived on in the Flying Spur Speed.

This W12 is finished in a warm metallic silver over an orange cabin, a pairing that shows through every window. The vertical grille vanes, the lower meshes, the Flying B and the turbine-style wheels are all bright chrome, with more chrome around the windows and along the waist and sills. Inside, orange hide runs across the dashboard, the steering wheel, the fluted seats and the quilted door panels, with burr veneer on the fascia and console and a fine bright line set across the dash. The etched Henson & Heaven plaque on its black velvet base marks it as one of 30. H&H builds it at 1:18.
