It first appeared in the Continental GT of 2003, and more than 100,000 were made before the last one was assembled by hand at Crewe in 2024. In the third-generation Flying Spur, revealed in 2019, it was a reworked 6.0-litre twin-turbo unit of 635 PS and 900 Nm, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and good for 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 333 km/h. For owners who wanted the chrome gone, Bentley offered a Blackline specification that replaces the exterior brightwork with gloss black.

This W12 puts the two together: a bright metallic red with its brightwork in gloss black. The vertical grille vanes and surround, the Flying B, the wing vents, the window frames, the waist strips and the lower meshes are all black, and so are the turbine-style wheels, which leaves the red body to carry the colour on its own. W12 script sits low on both front wings. The cabin is cream, with burr veneer across the fascia, a black centre console, fluted seats and quilted door panels. Its black velvet base has white stitching and an etched Henson & Heaven plaque giving an edition of 30. H&H builds it at 1:18.
