bentley-flying-spur-light-blue-h-h-1-18
Bentley Flying Spur, Light Blue

Bentley has given the Flying Spur a darker face in more than one way. The Blackline specification swaps the exterior chrome for gloss black, and the Flying Spur S, first shown in public at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June 2022 with a choice of a 550 PS V8 or a 544 PS V6 hybrid, made black trim its main visual signature. On the third-generation car, launched in 2019, the change matters most at the front, where Bentley had added vertical vanes to the matrix grille in tribute to the 1930 8 Litre. Finished in gloss black, the vanes step back and let the shape of the car lead.

This model takes that darker look and sets it against a solid pale blue, which makes every black detail stand out. The grille vanes and surround, the Flying B, the wing vents, the window frames, the waist strips and the lower meshes are all black, the headlamps have dark inner bezels, and the multi-spoke wheels are gloss black too. No version badge is fitted to the wings. Through the glass the cabin is cream, with burr veneer across the fascia, a black centre console, fluted seats and quilted door panels. It is mounted on a black velvet base with white stitching, and the etched Henson & Heaven plaque marks it as one of 30. H&H builds it at 1:18.
